In 2012, The K computer with 10 Peta FLOPs will start its operation in Kobe also. The K computer is open to anybody. This will drastically change the world of computational mechanics. In the ICMS 2012, there will be a tour of and some technical presentations on the K computer.

Although the ICMS 2012 will cover all the topics in computational mechanics, the revolutions of computational mechanics world with the amazing progress of computing speed will especially be focused. 5 world distinguished plenary speakers are invited and they will address the state of the art developments in the high performance computing and computational mechanics.

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for an enjoyable and interesting symposium, where you can have a fruitful exchange of ideas and research outcomes, and participate numerous technical exchanges.
