Access (from Tokyo Area):
(a) Get on a JR Joban Line train at Ueno Station and get off at Arakawaoki Station (60 min).† At Arakawaoki West Bus Station, take a bus for Tsukuba Dai Chuo, Kenchikukenkyujo, or Tsukuba Center, get off at Namiki-nichome Bus Stop (15 min), and find the main gate of AIST Tsukuba Central on the same side of the street.
(b) Get on a Tsukuba Express Bus at Yaesu South Exit of JR Tokyo Station, get off at Namiki Ohashi Bus Stop (60 min), and walk (10 min) in the same direction as the bus, and find on left the main gate of AIST Tsukuba Central.
