AP BIOMECH 2021
WELCOME MESSEGE FROM THE CHAIR

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 11th Asian-Pacific Conference on Biomechanics (AP Biomech 2021), which was originally planned to take place in the beautiful city of Kyoto, Japan, from December 2nd -5th, 2021. However, due to the ongoing pandemic situation, we decided to change the conference format to a virtual (online) one. Today, we are excited to welcome you to the virtual AP Biomech 2021 Conference.

Building on the success of previous conferences, AP Biomech 2021 will provide a platform for interaction and exchange of scientific research advances in the field of Biomechanics. There is little doubt that Biomechanics has grown tremendously over the years to become an important field with recognizable contributions to medicine as well as basic understanding of biophysical mechanisms that underly the functioning of living systems. We have put together a strong scientific program covering a wide range of topics in biomechanics, biomedical engineering, etc., as well as featured talks by leading international experts. As such, we are confident that AP Biomech 2021 will be a great platform to share your research with participants, including students, young and established researchers.

We extend a warm welcome to participants from diverse geographical and research backgrounds to join us to network, share and discuss recent research advances in Biomechanics. Besides scientific programs, you can look forward to enjoying the live online networking events, with your imagination on the beautiful scenery of late autumn red/yellow leaves in Kyoto.
