An Extended Abstract presents an arguable opinion about an issue. The goal of an Extended Abstract is to convince the audience that your opinion is valid and worth listening to, without the need to present completed research work and/or validated results. It is, nevertheless, important to support your argument with evidence to ensure the validity of your claims. An Extended Abstract may be a short report and discussion of ideas, facts, situations, methods, procedures or results of scientific research (bibliographic, experimental, theoretical, or other) focused on one of the congress topics. The congress will be sponsored by the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC) and held in cooperation with the European College of Sports and Exercise Physicians (ECOSEP), European College of Sport Science (ECSS), Societ Italiana delle Scienze Motorie e Sportive (SISMeS), European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC), Societa Italiana di Anatomia e Istologia (SIAI), International Association of Sport Kinetics (IASK) and European Association for Sport Management (EASM). It will also be technically co-sponsored by the International Association of Computer Science in Sport (IACSS). SCITEVENTS - Science and Technology Events is the Logistics Partner. Submitted papers and abstracts will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted Extended Abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts of the congress and on CD-ROM support, without ISBN. All accepted Complete Papers (full and short) will be published in the Congress Proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support. All papers presented at the congress venue will also be available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library. SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef. The Congress Proceedings will be submitted to appropriate indexes for indexation: Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Index) and Scopus.
