日本機械学会バイオエンジニアリング部門ＭＬ各位

Asian Pacific Association for Biomechanics (APAB) のPresidentの松本です．

APABでは本会の設立に多大の貢献をなされた初代President山口隆美先生を
記念して，若手研究者賞Yamaguchi Medalを創設致しました．本年９月に
札幌で開催されますAP Biomech 2015において，第１回の贈賞を行う予定
ですが，まだ，応募が１件もない状況です．そこで，応募締切を５／１から
５／１５に延期致しました．

この賞はAP Biomech 2015のWebサイト

http://labs.eng.hokudai.ac.jp/labo/apbiomech2015/?page_id=70

にありますように，博士号修得後６年以内のアジア太平洋地域のバイオメカ
ニクス研究者に与えられる賞で，

・Cardiovascular BioFluid Mechanics
・Bone and Joint Biomechanics
・Soft Tissue Mechanics
・Gait and Kinesiology
・Cellular and Molecular Biomechanics

の５分野が対象となり，また，受賞対象者はAP Biomech 2015に演題を提出
していることが必要です．

日本からなるべく多くの方に受賞して頂きたいと考えておりますので，若手
研究者の方々には積極的なご応募を，また，シニアの方々には，周辺の対象
若手研究者に応募を勧めて下さいますよう，よろしくお願いします．
