Title:“Cell biomechanics via particle-based methods”

Associate Professor of Computational Science
Institute of Computational Science, Lugano, Switzerland
Abstract: Particle-based methods provide an efficient framework for modeling of cells in flow. 
We will present Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD) based models suitable for large-scale simulations in complex flow domains. 
Red blood cell and cancer cell models and their applications will be discussed.
