Journal of Biomechanical Science and Engineering (JBSE) Call for Papers: Emerging Technologies in Biomechanical Science and Engineering - APAB and JSME

JBSE is the official Journal of the Bioengineering Division, the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME-BED), the Korean Society of Biomechanics (KSB), the Taiwanese Society of Biomechanics (TSB), and Asian-Pacific Association for Biomechanics (APAB)

Guest Editors (for the Special Issue):
Ken-ichi Tsubota, Chiba University, Japan and Ryo Sudo, Keio University, Japan

Aims and Scope:
The 8th World Congress of Biomechanics was held from July 8 to 12, 2018 in Dublin, Ireland (in conjunction with European Society of Biomechanics and World Council of Biomechanics) and many high quality abstracts, presentations and posters were presented. To commemorate the event involving academic sessions related with APAB and JSME, and showcase the best papers and researchers from the Asian Pacific region, a "Special Issue on Emerging Technologies in Biomechanical Science and Engineering
- APAB and JSME " has been proposed. The special issue will cover the diverse range of topics in Biomechanical Engineering and related scientific fields.

If you are from the Asian-Pacific group of countries (https://www.jsme.or.jp/bio/apbiomech/organization.html), and have a paper to present at the Dublin meeting, we urge you to consider submitting a full paper for this Special Issue, and help promote the significance of our regional biomechanics community and research activity. All papers submitted to this Special Issue would undergo the same peer-review process as those sent to regular issues.

Publication Schedule:
Submission of provisional title, authors and abstract: 30th September, 2018 Submission of full manuscript for review: 31st October, 2018 Expected publication (online) date: April, 2019
