Objective:

Originated in Malaysia, enhanced under the bilateral collaboration between Malaysia and Japan, iDECON is now expanded under the collaboration between Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) and Japan. As a result, the 3rd JSME iDECON/MS2019 will be held in Sendai, Japan, to provide an international forum for researchers, engineers, industrial practitioners from IMT-GT and Japan. A wide variety of topics related to design, concurrent engineering and manufacturing systems are welcome in JSME iDECON/MS2019 to facilitate sharing recent research results/trend among the participants and to explore the future directions. Accepted papers will be published in J-Stage and Selected papers from “regular papers” will be recommended to the special issue of Journal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing (JAMDSM), the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME).
