Conference Venue The 4th
International Conference on Manufacturing, Machine Design and Tribology
(ICMDT 2011) will be held April 24 through April 27, 2011 at Hotel TAKESHIMA,
Gamagori city, Aichi prefecture, JAPAN. Gamagori city is a tourist
destination located in Aichi prefecture, almost in the middle of Honshu
Island. The Hotel is on the sea front with hot spring Spa in Mikawa-Bay quasi national park. There are many attracting
places around the Hotel such as gLagunah amusement complex, gOrange (fruit)
Parkh, gSea Science Museumh, and gKyoteih powerboat
race course. You can also relax to your hearts by walking, trekking,
cruising, golfing etc. |

Transportation |

From Nagoya International Airport (Central Japan International Airport) to Gamagori station Take the limited express or rapid express train of Meitetsu Line to Kanayama station (about 30 minutes trip). The trains
leave every 15 minutes. Transfer to the limited express or express train of
JR Tokaido Line at Kanayama
station toward Toyohashi station (opposite direction to Nagoya station) (33
minutes trip). The trains leave every 20 minutes. From Nagoya station to Gamagori station Take the limited express or express train of JR Tokaido Line at Kanayama
station toward Toyohashi station (37 minutes trip). The trains leave every 20
minutes. From Gamagori station to Hotel TAKESHIMA (Conference
Venue) From the south exit of Gamagori station, it will take 5
minutes by Taxi. Shuttle bus is also available near the South exit of
Gamagori station. The bus will leave every 15 minutes from 13:00 to 15:00 on April
24, 2011, and upon your request by phone (0533 69 1256) on other dates. |

The
voltage in Japan is 100V, and the frequency is 60Hz in Western Japan
including Gamagori, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka, and 50 Hz in Eastern Japan
including Tokyo and Yokohama. The
most Japanese electrical power outlets are now identical to ungrounded 2-pin
North American outlets polarized (one slot is slightly wider than the other)
for Type A plugs, but it is possible to encounter non-polarized outlet having
two narrow slots only for the Japanese electrical plugs, see the figures
shown below.
