Call for papers: Special Issue on Advances in Production Management Systems

Announcement of Special Issue on “Advances in Production Management Systems” (Journal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing)

We are pleased to invite authors who presented a paper in APMS 2025 to submit its extended version to “Special Issue on Advances in Production Management Systems,” which will be published in 2027. In addition, the following manuscripts are also welcome for submission:

  1. Manuscripts that are original and unpublished.
  2. An extended version of a paper which was presented at a conference, symposium, congress or meeting and satisfies all of the following conditions:
    (a) The manuscript is written based on a paper presented at a conference, symposium, congress or meeting which was hosted or co-hosted by the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME).
    (b) The copyright of the paper has been transferred to the JSME or is held by the author(s).
    (c) The manuscript includes new knowledge added to the content of the paper.

When you submit the extended version, please enter a brief explanation of the new knowledge in “Enter Comments” in the “Comments” step on the submission system.

All the submitted papers will be subject to the reviewing process, and the accepted ones will be published in the Journal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing (JAMDSM). The Journal is electronically published by the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME).

Topics of interest are whole themes of production management systems, which include Smart Manufacturing, Data-driven Production Management, Model-driven Production Management, Sustainable and Responsible Management, Digital Supply Networks, Collaborative Manufacturing and Services, etc.
