Abstract

Engineering simulation techniques now enjoy widespread adoption across a wide range of industries. NAFEMS is an international association which exists with the sole aim of increasing the effective use of the available technology. This paper outlines the methods adopted by the organisation in order to achieve that aim, including developing best practice guidelines, verification and validation techniques, and increasing the supply of suitably competent personnel.
