第9回 先進エンジンシステムのモデリングと診断に関する国際会議

開催趣旨

COMODIA は日本機械学会が主催する内燃機関の国際集会であり，1985 年に始まり今回で第９回目を迎える．当初は燃焼に関するレーザ計測・診断技術とモデリングに的が絞られていたが，エンジンを取り巻く環境も大きく変わり，熱効率の向上や排気浄化以外にも解決の必要な課題が山積するとともに，種々の新規燃料の利用も具体化し，燃料から排気系まで内燃機関に関する工学と技術を総合的に議論する新たな枠組みが必要になってきた．そこでCOMODIAの名称はそのままとし，第７回会議よりその本質を従来のInternational Symposium on Diagnostics and Modeling of Combustion in Internal Combustion Engine からInternational Conference on Modeling and Diagnostics for Advanced Engine Systemsに発展させ，これに対処することにした．COMODIA 2017は，内燃機関におけるさまざまな燃焼技術，化学反応，モデリングや診断技術に加えエンジン制御を含めた広い話題に関する最新情報を携えた技術者や研究者が世界各地から集い，討論を重ね，結果として世界をリードする新たな情報を生み出そうとする国際会議である．
